Although generally covered by layers, he has built a bit more muscle than is perhaps average of his race. Despite this and being fairly tall, he is easily missed in a crowd. This may be due in part to once having had a very tiny natural aether pool but this seems to have been changing recently.Personality
Tristan is a patient and soft-spoken person. He's open-minded for an Ishgardian Elezen and will take strange happenings with a usually calm stride. Famed for a threatening level of customer service smile and "killing them with kindness," one might say. Often the one repairing the bridges burned by his comrades.History
As the third son of a noble family that only barely qualified as such, Tristan was in line to join the knight's service once of age but a mysterious illness left him unable to take part in training. With deeply dedicated study, he was able to gain entry to the Scholasticate and graduated quite early.Upon graduation he joined the Ishgardian Church as a member of the priesthood. His duties mostly included record keeping, stocking, and minding funds. In his spare time he took to the Brume, teaching young ones to read and write as well as training with the friars to build and increase his strength.

Tristan was later framed for a money-related crime that was easy to pin on him considering his work. Because the nature of the crime, he was spared greater punishment and instead simply stripped of title and duty in the church. Unable to really return home, he made his way to Mor Dhona after hearing there might be work there.Sometime while he was working here, he became familiar with a Doman refugee named Celestial who has become a regular comrade and now his girlfriend. Now he and his other friends made in Ul'dah run a local bar, brothel, and fighting pit known as The Scrapyard out of the Goblet.

Now that his business is located in Empyreum he's back home more often.Always Training - As with everything, he's always studying to get better, both at wielding the gunblade and his growing healing skills. He is also studying a couple languages.Dragon Sight - Due to an astrological magic mishap a decade past recently resolved, he has a magic and aetherical tie to the Dragon Star, granting him the ability to generally feel out the direction dragons are in and ones in disguise. Tristan is familiar with some other members of the church, especially those involved with the monks or other members who did bookkeeping. His family is pretty obscure, so it's somewhat unlikely anyone would immediately recognize his name.Considering his age (early twenties) it's possible they may have attended classes at the Scholasticate at the same time.He spent a lot of time in Mor Dhona doing whatever kind of work he could find. Fellow Mor Dhona adventurers might recognize him.Tristan works now and then for The Scrapyard as a hirable fighter at times but otherwise handles the background day-to-day operations and paperwork.
